What to remember
- Your Octopus Card is pre-loaded with an initial amount of HKD 10. However, you must top-up with any amount between HKD 50 and HKD 1,000 to be able to use your Octopus card.
- Once your card has reached zero balance, kindly reload for continuous use.
- You can have your card loaded at any Add Value Machine at all MTR stations; customer service centres of the MTR, Airport Express, Light Rail, and KMB; or the Citybus booth at the Airport Ground Transportation Centre. You may also add funds to your card at convenience stores, supermarkets, or mini stores like 7-Eleven and Circle K, which are authorised Add Value service providers.
- You can request for a refund of your remaining balance in the Octopus card at the MTR Customer Service Centre located at each station.
