Sam Roi Yot National Park from Hua Hin
Thailand lucked out on the nature front – not only are there the powdery beaches washed by crystal clear waters but it's also home to lush mountainous landscapes. Kick the day off with a boat trip over to a beach at the foot of the mountain. Then get ready to start the trek. After hiking for a while, you'll reach the Phraya Nakhon Cave with its three huge chambers – light streams in through large openings in the roof. Your guide will point out a tree called the ‘screaming elephant' - so named for its brutal sting, which can be felt even by elephants. After strolling back down you'll enjoy lunch at the beach.
