Kos has its fair share of great beaches but Paradise Beach in the south tops them all. With its crystal clear waters and fine golden sand it is easy to see how it earned its name. And if you just want to chill – swim in the shallow waters and notice the volcanic bubbles which rise from the seabed creating a natural hot tub. Or head for the watersports where you can try your hand at wakeboarding, take a trip out on a jet-ski or laugh as you try stay on a towed inflatable. You'll be dropped off mid-morning so you can spend the afternoon in your very own paradise before being taken back to your hotels.

Bump along some hillside tracks, navigate winding roads and rev to reach panoramic points. Your driver-guide will be on hand to tell you all about Kos's flora and fauna and lead you away from the tourist spots to places only locals know about. And on your return, you can freshen up with a well-earned swim stop before returning to your hotel.

Kos Town Scuba Diving
Good visibility and plentiful marine life make the warm seas around Kos perfect for diving. This beginners' scuba excursion includes theory and shallow water practice sessions, followed by a supervised boat dive at a renowned local dive site. After a brief classroom session on the basics, you'll zip up your wetsuit and hit the shallows with your fully qualified instructor. It's then time to head by boat for your first proper dive, at a great nearby site. Accompanied by your guide, you'll swim through shoals of fish and may even spot bigger critters like moray eels, bream and octopus, too. It's an ideal introduction to the sport.
