Starting this tour with amazing views over Funchal´s Bay, you'll enjoy a drive uphill to Boca dos Namorados, at nearly 1000 mt high above the sea level, where you'll be able to see the famous village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley). Going higher to Boca da Corrida through a spectacular off-road with an elevation of about 1200 mt, you'll be astonished by the main volcanic complex and highest mountains of the island. From there, you'll go downhill to Jardim da Serra, a place known by its cherry production. Here you'll have a quick stop, where you can enjoy a Portuguese coffee, natural tea or the very traditional drink Poncha, freshly made by a local. We will continue towards Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the World with 580 mt, better known for its renovated viewpoint with a suspended glass floor. Later, we will finish the experience at the warm and traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos visiting a Madeira Wine Lodge, where you'll have the opportunity to taste the famous Madeira wine (Sweet, Medium Sweet, Dry, and Medium Dry).
After the Jeep tour, you'll be dropped off at Funchal’s Harbor to start the dolphin and whale watching trip. Come on board on a catamaran for a relaxing trip along the south coast of Madeira. The boat trip will take around 3 hours with strong possibilities of watching dolphins and whales in their natural habitat. During the trip, the crew will give you detailed information about the cetacean species that you'll be able to see. In the summer months, you'll have the possibility of swimming below the Cabo Girao cliff. In case you don’t see any cetaceans, we offer a second boat trip. This trip ends in Funchal’s Harbor.
