Search for whale sharks in their natural habitat on this marine wildlife tour from Máncora. The tour includes hotel pick-up from Máncora, Pocitas and Vichayito, followed by a boat trip into the Pacific Ocean to search for whale sharks. If whale sharks are located, you'll have the opportunity to swim near them with a guide.
After a safety briefing at the departure point, you'll receive snorkelling equipment and board a boat. The crew searches for whale sharks in the ocean. Whale sharks can grow up to 12 metres long and are filter-feeding fish known for calm behaviour. If whale sharks are found, you'll enter the water with a guide who supervises the activity to ensure safe distance is maintained. The interaction follows responsible wildlife viewing practices.
The tour includes photo and video recording. Whale shark sightings occur during the tour season from July to October, with sightings possible but not guaranteed as these are wild animals in their natural habitat.
