The Manresa Water and Textile Museum (MAT) was inaugurated in 1992 inside the city's spectacular water reservoirs, which have since been restored and converted into a unique museum space. It hosts two permanent exhibitions: one dedicated to the history of water and the construction of the Séquia, one of Catalonia's great medieval engineering works, and another dedicated to the textile industry, which allows visitors to discover the sector's evolution thanks to a collection of machinery unique for its variety and excellent state of preservation.
