There is no better excuse to escape Marrakech with its bustling streets than a day trip to the surrounding Atlas Mountains to get a taste of luxury at Sir Richard Branson Kasbah Tamadot. The Kasbah was a wealthy Italian antique dealer residence before becoming one of the rare properties Virgin Limited own around the world. It was spotted by Sir Richard Branson during one of his balloon rides over the Atlas Mountains.
You will leave Marrakech around 9.30 am on your 4X4 and drive past the Berber villages nestled in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. You will have a chance to have a private mint tea ceremony organized for you at an authentic Berber family house. You will then be driven to the village of Asni, where you will have a chance to visit a Berber market where Berbers from the surrounding villages come for shopping once a week.
After lunch served in the gardens of Kasbah Tamadot, you will be driven back to Marrakech via the fertile plains of Haouz.
