Enjoy a relaxed evening discovering the traditions of Mykonian farming and rural life on a visit to a traditional farm. This experience combines a scenic drive across the island, guided farm tours, storytelling, local snacks, and optional hands-on farming activities.
Guests are picked up from their hotel or preferred location and driven to the village of Ano Mera, where a short walk leads to the farm. Upon arrival, the farm superintendent welcomes visitors and guides them through the property, explaining the history, livestock, crops, and methods of organic and traditional farming on Mykonos.
While relaxing on a traditional stone couch, guests enjoy a farmer’s snack of bread, fresh vegetables, kopanisti cheese, olives, and traditional raki, accompanied by stories about local farming customs. Following this, visitors have the option to participate in light farming tasks such as watering and trimming the garden, caring for animals, collecting eggs, or harvesting vegetables.
