Here, you'll get a taste of authentic Albanian life, starting with a leisurely coffee break. Then, invigorate yourself with a stroll through this ancient village where you can optionally explore the ancient Roman basilica and soak in the surrounding views - highly recommended indeed. En route to your next destination, you'll encounter the bunkers constructed during Enver Hoxha's communist regime. The tour then proceeds to the city of Pogradec. Here, you'll explore the local marketplace, town park, boulevard and statues. As you wander, your guide will shed light on the cultural contrasts between traditional and modern aspects of Albanian society. Before returning to Ohrid, there will be some free time for lunch and a photo opportunity at the prehistoric Bay of Bones. This excursion provides a rich tapestry of experiences that beautifully blend history, culture and natural beauty.
