What to expect

Enjoy a tasting experience with olive oil experts in one of the oldest and most original large farms in Puglia: Masseria Valente.

Participating in this activity, you will be able to walk among millenary olive trees, before discovering the hypogeum and the epigeal oil mill. You will also learn more about the evolution of the farming world in the last century's Puglia by visiting the adjoining Museum of Peasant Civilization. After having gained knowledge about the processes that lead to the birth of extra-virgin olive oil, you will finally be able to taste some of the products of the farm itself.
