Leave Patreksfjörður to visit the spectacular Látrabjarg cliffs. Admire the beautiful landscapes with its white sandy beaches and turquoise ocean. You are now at the westernmost point of Iceland standing on a cliff which is up to 440m high and 14km long. This cliff is the home to the biggest colony of sea birds in the North Atlantic.
Look around to spot the thousands of birds and different species among the famous puffin. If you are lucky you can see some grey seals sleeping under the cliffs on the rocks.
Cycle from Látrabjarg to Hnjótur where you will visit the Heritage Museum. You will get in touch with the lifestyle of the historic Icelandic people, their behavior and way of life. The last visit of the day will be the impressive Rauðasandur beach with its beautiful red colored sand.
