Discover the hidden treasures of Todi with a local guide. Admire the extraordinary Bishop's Palace, which is usually closed to visitors, and its spectacular frescoes.
Elisa, your guide, grew up exploring the winding streets and alleys of this lovely medieval town. Her love and deep connection with her birthplace shine through in all of her tours, which give you unparalleled access to the most fascinating sites in the area: the Bishop’s Palace is one of them.
Located a few steps from Piazza del Popolo, Todi's main square, the palace was entirely restored and enlarged in the second half of the 16th century under the direction of Bishop Angelo Cesi, the powerful mecenate (patron of the arts) of Todi.
Included in the Palace’s entrance fee is also the visit to the Nunziatina Church, a hidden treasure of Italian Baroque: admire the noteworthy portrait of Jacopone da Todi, the famous poet, the painting depicting the Wedding at Cana and the elegant frescoed interior.
