This two-day adventure takes you deep into the rainforest landscapes of Khao Sok and the emerald waters of Cheow Lan Lake, combining easygoing exploration with a standout overnight stay in a luxury tented camp. Surrounded by dense jungle, the camp is the heart of the experience, serving up a relaxing stay that feels connected to nature – think glamping but with a proper bed for the night and a few creature comforts.
On day one, you’ll be collected from your hotel in Phuket or Khao Lak and travel towards Khao Sok, with short stops at Sarasin Bridge and the Tsunami Memorial Site along the way. After lunch, slow the pace with a peaceful canoe journey along the Khao Sok River, drifting past dramatic karst scenery and native wildlife in Thailand’s oldest rainforest. A scenic viewpoint offers sweeping views across the landscape before arriving at your luxury camp, where the rest of the evening is yours to relax and take in the surroundings.
Rise and shine to the sounds of the rainforest as day two shifts to the spectacular scenery of Cheow Lan Lake. After breakfast, you’ll cruise across the lake by traditional long-tail boat, surrounded by towering limestone formations and unspoilt rainforest. A light jungle walk introduces the area’s distinctive plants and wildlife, before you hop on a bamboo raft to visit a cave. After lunch at a floating restaurant with time to soak up the lakeside views, you’ll return by boat and leave the rainforest behind as you take your transfer back to Phuket or Khao Lak.
