This immersive experience explores the cultural and natural roots of the Atlantic rainforest in the Iguazú region. You'll visit a Guaraní community, stop at the Güira Oga Wildlife Rescue Center, tour a traditional yerba mate plantation, and discover the San Ignacio Miní Ruins.
Day one begins with a visit to the Mbya Guaraní community at Comunidad Guaraní Yasy Porã. A guided walk offers insight into their culture, language, medicinal plants, and spiritual connection with nature. After a regional lunch featuring traditional dishes, you'll visit the Wildlife Rescue Centre to learn about conservation efforts for native species. The day ends with an interactive mate cultural experience.
On day two, you'll explore the San Ignacio Miní Ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site revealing the relationship between the Guaraní people and Jesuit missionaries. You'll then visit a traditional yerba mate plantation to learn about its production and cultural significance. After lunch in Jardín América, you'll proceed to the Wanda Mines to explore the mining area and observe semi-precious stones characteristic of northern Misiones.
