In 1960, a quartet of university students stumbled upon an unassuming opening beneath a relatively unknown limestone rock bridge. This seemingly insignificant discovery soon led to one of the most remarkable revelations in the state's history - the Discovery Cavern.
The tour recreates this initial exploration, with visitors guided by handheld lanterns, just as the original explorers were. However, unlike those brave pioneers who clambered through mud and over rocks, guests are afforded the luxury of paved paths complete with handrails.
