You'll explore two of its most emblematic neighbourhoods, stopping at five taverns known for their house specialities. Along the way, your guide will share insights into how locals enjoy pintxos — small, flavourful dishes that are a key part of Basque cuisine — and how to navigate the city’s food scene with confidence.
At each stop, you'll taste one or two signature bites among a selection of traditional and modern pintxos. Typical samples may include anchovies, beef, seared cod and suckling pig, offering an overview of regional ingredients and cooking styles.
Each tasting is paired with a drink of your choice, such as local wine, cider or a non-alcoholic option. In total, you'll sample up to six food tastings, all included as part of the tour.
