Hi, my name is Ignacio but everybody call me “the inventor Chef” bacause i have two passions in my life: The mechanical inventions and the kitchen. I will try to explain:
When I was 20 years old, tired of studying in the library and wishing to live new experiences, I decided to sign up for “Sevilla coocking school”. It is true that I have always liked the coocking business since I was a child, when my mother taught me how to prepare “Gazpacho”. Nevertheless the main reason that finally led me to abandon university and enter this profession so unknown for me is that I pictured myself free around the world in exotic kitchens having a great time!
I learnt to cook in the kitchens of Martín Berasategui, Santi Santa María and Jordin Butrón. I am currently taking a rest away from restaurant hobs so I can dedicate to my other great passion, mechanical inventions, but I continue to cook for pleasure on the occasion of exclusive dinners in my living room. I live in an artisans' community, surrounded by flamenco artists, painters, sculptors and carpenters.
Eatwith is the world's largest community for culinary experiences with locals. Savor local food and enjoy dinner parties, cooking classes and more in beautiful homes and exclusive venues.
