Your tour will start at Market street – the heart of the old Sneek and a former marketplace, and continue on Schaapmarktplein, a picturesque plaza with little cafés and shops. There you'll see the symbol of Sneek, the Watergate built in 1613. Don't miss Saint Martinus church, the neo-Gothic cruciform church designed by Mr. Pierre Cuypers, who also created the facade of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
