To start off your tour, you will get picked up from your hotel to go on a 3-hour drive to Loumpoul. When you get there, you will be driven on a 4x4 through the dunes to reach the camp where you will be given a warm welcome. Next, you will go on a camel ride to go around the orange sand dunes and enjoy the wonderful sunset. You will then go back to your camp and have dinner under the stars before you go to sleep in the comfortable traditional Mauritanian tents of Loumpoul Ecolodge.
The next day, you will go to Saint-Louis, a historic city that is the former capital of French West Africa. Visit the old town listed as World Heritage by UNESCO and ride in traditional horse-drawn carriages. You will also be able to discover the preserved monuments of the colonial city like the Faidherbe Bridge, the colonial houses, the Town Hall, the Cathedral of Saint-Louis, the airmail views of the Museum, and fishermen's quarter Guet Ndar. Finally, you will visit the Museum of Photography before going back to your hotel.
