To start off your tour, you will go to the pier to take the boat which will take you to Gorée Island after 20 minutes of cruise. There, you will visit the Fort d'Estrée which houses the Historical Museum and the House of Slaves Museum. You also get the chance to walk around the cliff of the island, where you can see the monument of the Gorée Almadies Memorial. Stroll through the charming alleys lined with houses dating back to the colonial era before having lunch on the island. Return to Dakar and route to Pink Lake.
Between dunes and the ocean, the salt lake will dazzle you with its ever-changing purple tones. After a tour of the lake, you'll visit a Peulh village and stop at the salt collectors. Next, time for an unforgettable dip in the saltwater lake where you will float like a cork: sensations guaranteed! A rinsing session with fresh water is planned in a nearby spring.
