This is one of Norway's most popular hike, and it's not without a reason. Join this hike and explore the nature and the scenic view from the top. The trail is well marked and easy to follow, but depending on weather, the rocks may become slippery in some of the more demanding areas. Some hiking experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
You first head to the Stavanger ferry station or Lauvvik ferry station and take the ferry across the fjord. From the other side is a short drive to Preikestolen Lodge, the trailhead for the hike. The hike up will take around 2 and 3 hours. Once at Pulpit Rock, there will be time to enjoy the view, the beautiful nature and most definitely to take some photos. This is when you can enjoy your packed lunch, beverages, and some snacks. The hike back will likely also take around 2 to 3 hours, with the expected arrival time in Stavanger around 3-4pm.
