Our tour starts outside the Nobel Prize Museum on Stortorget square in the heart of Stockholm's Gamla Stan (Old Town), which is located in the former Stock Exchange Building from the 1770s. Explore the museum and learn some interesting stories about Alfred Nobel's life and work, including anecdotes about his 355 patents.
Then go on to Stockholm Palace, the Cathedral and admire the House of Nobility and the Parliament House before reaching Riddarfjärden, the easternmost bay of Lake Mälaren in central Stockholm, for fantastic views of the Western Bridge and the rocks of Södermalm - the perfect place for great photo opportunities! Our walking tour ends outside the City Hall where the Nobel banquet takes place on December 10th every year since 1930.
