Ipsarion Adventure
On this full day excursion, you'll climb aboard a 4x4 vehicle and be swept away deep into the rugged hills of central Thassos. Buckle up and speed off along winding country tracks and stop by the Virgin Mary monastery before driving the hairpin roads up Mt Ipsarion, the island's highest peak. Afterwards, we'll make our way to the waters of Lake Maries, with its mesmerising series of gushing waterfalls. Pit stop in a nearby village for a snack, and we'll head on to the abandoned settlement of Kastro. Check out the church and soak up the panoramas over the island and Mt Athos before hopping back in the vehicles for the return ride to base.
