What to expect

Would you like to draw your own manga to keep and be taught by a Japanese professional manga artist in English within a manga school? Are you curious? If so, then this 2-hour private activity is for you and an incredible experience to share with friends and loved ones.

Starting from entering the manga school set in the pop culture center of Nakano, you'll receive the necessary materials and take a seat ready to enjoy. Then, for half an hour, you'll practice with a pencil how to draw a manga-style character.

Make the most of your creativity with original manga drawings as references to produce your one draft on the Manga paper that is used inking. Learn how to use a screen tone special effect to complete your original art to keep. This activity also allows you the possibility to receive classes from a local celebrity called Nao Yazawa. She is a teacher at Manga School in Nakano and is known for her manga series that was made into an anime.
