In Veliko Tărnovo, once the capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, you'll visit Tsarevets Fortress, with your entrance ticket included, and take in views over the Yantra River. Afterwards, you'll continue to Arbanassi, a village known for its traditional architecture and spiritual heritage.
Here, you'll see well-preserved 17th-century houses and visit the Nativity Church, where you can admire its intricate frescoes. The day also includes a coffee break, giving you time to unwind and take in the surrounding Bulgarian countryside.
