Founded over 30 years ago by the musician and conductor Gert Hofbauer, the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra consists of about 40 professional musicians and international soloists of the Vienna State Opera. The orchestra performs the brilliant compositions by Strauss and Mozart in one of the strikingly beautiful concert halls of Vienna at the renowned Hofburg Palace.

What to remember
  • Categories A and B or the tickets refer to the concert seats. Category A tickets are for the front section (the first 25 rows in Redoutensaal or Festsaal in the Vienna Hofburg); category B tickets are for the section in the back of the concert halls.
  • You will automatically be assigned the best seats available at the moment of purchase.
