What to expect

Meet your guide at the L’Enfant Plaza metro and make your way through the Smithsonian area, discussing the best exhibits in each. Next, breeze past the Washington Monument, Holocaust Museum, and Bureau of Engraving and Printing on your way to our beautiful Tidal Basin. You'll also have the opportunity to hop out and explore on your own at the FDR and MLK memorials, as well as at the Lincoln Memorial.

Cruise along the scenic Potomac River with views of Arlington Cemetery before seeing the World War I and World War II memorials and continuing your journey with a drive past the White House. Finally, feast your eyes on the buildings of Capitol Hill and learn the history behind them.

What to remember

As of January 17, 2022, all guests on the cart tours will be required to bring a mask with them. Masks must be worn while on tour on an enclosed cart. Masks will be optional while on tour on an open-air cart
Custom-made electric cars are used to transport travelers around, helping reduce car emissions in the city. The RedRoadsters are equipped with roll-down clear siding to sightsee in the rain or wind and are equipped with warm blankets in the winter for your comfort
This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. The final decision can occur as late as one hour prior to departure
