The inside story
The Museum de Fundatie is an impressive art museum that’s situated in the neoclassical former Palace of Justice building in Zwolle. Admire the exterior architecture of the building that’s a piece of artwork in itself! In 2013, ‘The Cloud’ construction was added to the roof of the building as a new exhibition space, mixing old and new to reflect the theme of the museum. Admire this dome-like structure with blue and white 3D tiles and glass windows. Art lovers will adore the collections inside the museum with over 11,000 artworks from historic to contemporary and modern. Temporary exhibitions are constantly changing to introduce new artists to discover.
