Josetta Saffirio owns 5 hectares most of which dedicated to Nebbiolo in the Barolo cru of ‘Castelletto’, a very small and high quality production.
Wines produced by Josetta Saffirio represent the terroir: Langhe Rossese bianco, an old grape variety rediscovery some year ago, Barbera, Nebbiolo d'Alba Spumante Rosè champenoise Method and off course Barolo DOCG and Barolo Riserva DOCG.
They are prowd to show to the guests the local tradition, including the chance of having cooking classes with local chefs and in the beautiful equipped kitchen.
You will learn to prepare a whole authentic menu, including an “antipasto” (starter), a “primo” (first course, usually our typical home-made tajarin), a “secondo” (second course) with accompaniment and dessert.
Following the cooking class, a tour to the cellar, and then lunch, which will be served at the beautiful tasting room.
Taste the food prepared in the morning and relax with four excellent wines including Barolo DOCG.
