Your day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Arequipa, setting off towards the Colca Valley. A brief stop at the Pampa Cañahuas Wildlife Reserve allows you to observe vicuñas and gain insights into the high-Andean ecosystem. The journey continues to Patapampa, a volcano viewpoint situated at 4,830 m above sea level. There, you can soak in panoramic views of the Andes and surrounding volcanoes.
Upon arrival in Chivay, there's time for breakfast (not included) and a short rest before heading to Cruz del Cóndor. This famous viewpoint offers a chance to witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor and admire the depth of the Colca Canyon. You'll also have an opportunity to visit a local hot spring.
The journey resumes towards Puno, crossing the high Andean plateau.
