What to expect

If you're spending any time near the Nile in Aswan, a sailing experience on a traditional felucca is a must-do. This tour combines this with an authentic dinner on a Nubian island.

In the afternoon, your driver will meet you at your hotel or Nile cruise ship and take you to the Nile dock, where you'll board a motorboat to Nile Island. Once there, you'll board a felucca for a one-hour sail to enjoy the amazing sunset over the Nile and the fascinating surrounding landscape. Back on the island, you can relax on comfortable local sofas and chat with the Nubian people until dinner is ready.

You'll enjoy a delicious, authentic dinner. Depending on the number of participants on the island, there may also be an oriental show. After this unforgettable experience, you'll be transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise ship.

You can choose between private and shared ticket options
The minimum number of people for the shared tour to take place is 2
Infants under 5 years can go for free but they have to sit on their parent's lap in case there are no seats available
Children under 12 years old can participate only with a parent or guardian
Please note that a motorboat would the alternative to the felucca boat in case of windy weather
