Acadia Mount Desert Island Self-Guided Driving Audio Tour

Know in advance:

• Acadia National Park experiences seasonal closures, including the Park Loop Road from December to mid-April, with limited vehicle access. Some visitor centres and facilities may also be closed. For more details, visit the official National Park Service website
• You will have a lifetime access to the guide, it will not expire. Use it anytime, as many times as you want
• This is a self-guided tour; no guide will accompany you, and attraction tickets are not included. The app functions as a guide, an audio tour, and a map, all in one
• After booking, you'll receive an email from the activity provider with instructions for setting up the tour while you have Wi-Fi/data. Please don't wait until you are on-site
• Works perfectly without Wi-Fi/data with offline maps. The audio stories play on their own based on your location. You can start anytime and pause anywhere
• Most stops along the tour have animated videos allowing you to visualise what you cannot see, such as snapshots from different centuries or interior rooms
• Please arrange for a vehicle before you take the tour. You only need to book one tour per vehicle, not per person
• The tour requires a supported mobile device for navigation. Please use an iPhone with iOS 15 or later, an Android device with Android 9 or later, or an iPad/tablet with GPS and cellular service
• A section of the Park Loop Road, from the start of one-way traffic to Kebo Street, is closed to all uses due to construction from April 6 through April 14. Since most of the Park Loop Road is already closed to private vehicles for the off-season through April 14, this closure further limits recreational access, including walking and cycling.
