Discover the best of Western Norway on a full-day journey from Bergen. Take in the views on a 2‑hour fjord cruise on the UNESCO‑listed Nærøyfjord, visit the village of Flåm, the Stegastein viewpoint, and enjoy an included lunch.
Depart in the morning from Bergen and travel by comfortable bus through classic Western Norwegian landscapes. Along the way, your local guide will share insights into history, culture, and nature. The route runs along the Osterfjord and past Vangsvatnet near Voss before reaching Tvindefossen waterfall.
A major highlight is the two‑hour cruise through the spectacular Nærøyfjord, one of the world’s narrowest fjords and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Towering mountains rise over 1,000 meters straight from the fjord, with small villages, waterfalls, and dramatic cliffs along the way. Seals or sea eagles may sometimes be spotted. The cruise ends in Flåm, where you have time to explore the village before continuing.
Next, head to the Stegastein viewpoint, 650 meters above the fjord, and admire one of the region’s most impressive panoramas.
In winter (January–May), a warm lunch is served in Gudvangen. In summer (June–August), lunch is served on board the fjord cruise. A coffee break with local pastry is also included.
