What to expect

Two of Turkey's most famous historical sites and two of its most popular products are the stars of this tour. You'll visit the ancient city of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary. And you´ll also get the chance poke around a ceramic centre and a Turkish delight emporium.

After an early pick-up, we'll travel to the ancient city of Ephesus, where a journey through history awaits. Stroll down marble-paved streets where mosaics and frescoes still decorate the walls of ancient Roman houses. Gaze up at the Temple of Hadrian and be blown away by the Library of Celsus. The grand finale comes at the theatre, where 25,000 spectators would watch plays – and even brutal gladiator clashes.

Next, we'll visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a Catholic and Muslim shrine. There's a wishing wall, where visitors leave written prayers and a fountain whose waters are believed by some to have miraculous powers. After lunch, visit a ceramic centre and Turkish delight store en route back to your hotel.
