This tour takes you to the second largest and one of the best preserved European deltas – the Danube Delta and allows you to discover Constanta, the charming city by the Black Sea.
The Danube Delta is part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites and is made of an intricate network of waterways and lakes. Explore this area of floating reed islands, forests, pastures and sand dunes that cover 3,000 square miles. The site is home to a fascinating mix of cultures, people and wildlife. Get the chance to spot more than 300 species of birds and other animals.
You'll also have the opportunity to visit Constanta, the city by the Black Sea with a history going back to the 6th century B.C. when Greek colonists founded the ancient city of Tomis. Here you can stroll through the old town and visit the casino, the Orthodox Cathedral, the Grand Mosque and the Archaeological Museum.
