Join this full-day tour and explore Chiang Rai, the Golden Triangle. After the pickup at your hotel, you will drive to Chiang Rai (3 hours drive). During the drive, you will enjoy picturesque scenic routes and see the beautiful northern mountains. In Chiang Rai, you will visit White Temple (Rong Khun Temple) which was designed by a famous national artist. The main temple building is a distinctive white color, decorated with fragments of reflective glass that can be seen from afar. Your next stop will be the Golden Triangle (1-hour drive). Here, the borders of three countries meet: Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. See the Golden Buddha Statue and panoramic view of Mekong River. Visit to Opium Museum, displaying all the stories about the opium and the Golden Triangle. After enjoying lunch in a local restaurant, you will depart to Mae Sai Town, the Thailand-Myanmar border which is also the northernmost point of Thailand. Enjoy shopping local products from China and Myanmar.
Your last stop will be Akha and Yao Hill Tribe village before dropped off at your accommodation in Chiang Mai.
