Ronda is one of those must-see places that will feature on most to-do lists while in the Costa de la Luz, and on this full day trip you'll get to see two picture-perfect white villages. It's all made even more special with local week-long festivities in Ronda featuring traditional costumes and a touch of age-old glamour.
Ronda is one of Spain's oldest towns and the drive into the sierra to reach it is worth it all alone. Its 18th century bullring is a star attraction as are the dizzying views from the bridge over El Tajo gorge. The setting and scenery are dramatic, but every year the entire town travels back in time with traditional attire, ornate horse carriages riding through the ring and general festivities.
You'll get to be a part of it all before we set off further into the hills and valleys to the village of Grazalema. Its pristine whitewashed houses, red-tiled roofs and setting in amongst mountains are a breath of fresh air.
