Upon arrival, take many steps up to visit the caves and pagodas and admire the beautiful panoramic view. Then, visit Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda built under the reign of King Minh Mang during the Nguyen Dynasty in the 19th century. Legend has it a Buddhist statue drifted downstream to the area and got anchored at a sandy embankment. Afterward, relax and have lunch at a local restaurant.
Then explore the city of Hoi An. Head to Hoi An Museum, admire many of the town’s renowned ancient houses which boast remarkable architecture and see Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, the Art Craft Manufacturing Workshop, and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge.
