Welcome to MoLI, the Museum of Literature Ireland. Launched in 2019, MoLI is a home for Irish writing past and present.

Join a journey through Irish history through the lens of literature, with immersive multimedia exhibitions and precious items from the Irish state literary collection, including the original copy of James Joyce's Ulysses.

Explore the museum through self-guided or guided tour options, and learn about the history of the building and Irish literature led by one of the expert tour guides.

What to remember

Know in advance:

opening times: 10.00am–6:00pm, 7 days a week. Last entry at 5:00pm
guided tour times: on the hour from 11:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Sunday)
children (ages 0-3) get free admission
the guided tour (included in ticket) runs every hour and lasts 50 minutes. For information on where to join the tour, please go to the ticket desk at the main entrance or the second ticket desk on the ground floor
