Tickets for the Museum and Archeological Area of Naxos

Discover the remains of the ancient city of Naxos, the Greek colony founded in 734 BC and destroyed by Dionysius of Syracuse in 403 BC.

Thanks to the countless excavations conducted since the '50s it is now possible to visit both the archeological area and the museum located inside of it. Admire plenty of wonderfully-preserved findings, including statues, graves and everyday tools, walk by the city's main streets and explore the ancient dwellings to find out more about the history of the first Greek colony in Sicily and main port of the city of Taormina.
