Embark on a captivating 2-day tour from Hanoi, exploring the natural wonders of Tam Coc and Cuc Phuong National Park.
You'll drive to Cuc Phuong National Park to visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, and conservation of endangered primates as well as the protection of their habitats. After lunch, depart for the Park Center and on the way, you'll visit the Cave Of Early Man, an amazing historic find dating back over 7000 years. Next, you'll start on a long trek through the forest to learn about the diverse plant and animal life in the park. You'll also make stops at Cho Chi, the oldest tree in the forest, as well as several picturesque streams and waterfalls. Overnight, you'll stay at a guesthouse in Cuc Phuong National Park.
After breakfast on day two, you'll head to Tam Coc, known to travelers as Vietnam's inland Ha Long Bay. This will be an exciting day, highlighted by a two-hour boat ride in Tam Coc stream. You'll enjoy a spectacular scenery while gliding along the river among rice paddies and ranges of limestone mountain peaks towering above you. After a local lunch served at a riverside restaurant, you'll take a short trip through the peaceful countryside to Hoa Lu, Vietnam's ancient capital of the 10th and 11th century. Here stand two temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le. After, you'll return to Ha Noi.
