With a short guided tour, you will delve straight into the palace's opulent past. Wander through its exquisite courtyards, gardens, and rooms with the aid of a curated audio guide, which includes access to the renowned Harem Section.

Galata Tower, a symbol of Istanbul since the 14th century, offers an observation deck with panoramic views of the city. With hosted entry, your guide accompanies you to the tower entrance, ensuring a smooth and quick access before you explore its intriguing history at your own pace, from its time as a watchtower to its period as a prison.

Meeting point:

Topkapi Palace tours begin in front of the Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III, where the guide waits with a purple and fuchsia umbrella. The meeting point for Galata Tower hosted entry is at the Bereketzade fountain, beside the tower, with the host holding the same umbrella. Please arrive 15 minutes early for both.

What to remember

Know in advance:

You can visit the two locations any time you want during the opening hours on the day of the booking
After booking, you'll receive your entry ticket QR ticket via separate e-mail from the local operator
The QR ticket will only be visible when in proximity to the venue. You'll need internet connection on your smartphone to retrieve your QR ticket
All visitors must go through the security check at the entrances
Due to the limited capacity of the location, you might wait in queue to enter even with the skip-the-line ticket
Children will be asked to present their valid passports at the entrance of the museums in order to validate their age
To enter the Topkapi Palace, you must take part in the guided tour operated as Hosted Entry every hour from 09:30am to 3:30pm. Reservations are not required. The guide will provide a 20-minute introduction and then accompany visitors inside the palace. Once inside, visitors can explore the palace on their own until 5pm
Topkapi Palace tours: 09:30, 11:00, 12:00, 13:30, and 15:30. Closed on Tuesdays
Galata Tower tours: 11:30, 13:45, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00. Closed on Fridays
Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, and Galata Tower is closed on Fridays
