Full-day tour in Caesarea, Haifa and Acre from Jerusalem

Caesarea is an ancient port town made famous by King Herod who named it in honor of Caesar Augustus. With your personal guide, you will be able to take in the atmosphere, the arena, and amphitheater. Tour the excavated buildings, bathhouses and the remains of the famous port.
The next stop on your private tour will be to the sprawling Acre. This was the last stronghold of the Crusaders, from which they were forced to leave in the thirteenth century. Having now been exposed, take a tour through the courtyard, the stairway to the lost second story and large supporting columns which were, until recently, buried under the sand. Explore the Knights Hall, public toilets and secret tunnels which will be sure to leave you amazed. Before leaving Acre, enjoy a wander through the Arab markets. The next stop along your drive up the Mediterranean coast with be in Haifa where you will take in the breathtaking views from atop Mount Carmel across the Haifa bay and see the immaculate Bahai Shrine and terraced gardens.
Finally, with your personal guide, you will arrive at the northernmost point along the coast at Rosh Hanikra. Here you will see the border crossing between Israel and Lebanon, which is controlled by the UN. Then take a cable car down the mountainside to explore the beautiful natural grottoes. On your return journey south, you will stop at Acre (Akko), the largest Crusader city in the country. The city is extremely well preserved and you can't help being impressed by the incredible architecture and how it has survived. Part of the city is alive with markets and people still living in the ancient buildings.
