Travel northbound to discover the archaeological treasures of the Mediterranean cities of Caesarea, Haifa, Acre, and Rosh Hanikra on this full-day tour!
You'll start your day driving up the Mediterranean coast to the ancient Roman city of Caesarea, passing through Herzliya and Natanya. Here, you'll visit the amazingly preserved Roman amphitheater which is still used to this day as a venue for internationally renowned artists. Next to the amphitheater, is part of what was once a hippodrome and the remains of a Roman Temple. Continuing north, you'll visit the breathtaking Baha'i Shrine and gardens in Haifa. The terraced gardens cascade down the mountain towards the city below, each of the 19 terraces bursts with colorful flowers and landscaped designs.
The next stop is Rosh HaNikra, the most northerly point along Israel's Mediterranean coast. You'll climb up by cable car to the stunning limestone grottoes. On your way back, you'll stop one last time at the UNESCO World Heritage Site city of Acre (Akko), the largest Crusader city in the country.
