You'll receive an email from the local operator confirming the exact pick-up time after you book. If you're staying on Ko Kho Khao, a pick-up service from the Baan Nam Kem Pier is offered, which is just a 20-minute longtail boat ride away. Alternatively, you can meet the tour at the Sawanu Travel office located at Royal Phuket Marina 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

  • Thailand's Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation closes Maya Bay every year for 2 months in August and September. In this period, there will be no stop at Maya Bay during your tour
  • During certain seasons, jellyfish may be present in the Andaman Sea, and contact can cause skin irritation or discomfort. To minimize the risk, it's recommended wearing protective clothing such as water shoes and long swimwear
  • For your safety, it's strongly recommended wearing a life jacket throughout the entire boat ride to the islands and while snorkelling
  • While flip-flops are convenient, water shoes offer better protection against sharp objects like shells or rocks on the sand, and provide improved traction on wet surfaces
  • Shorts are ideal as they dry quickly and allow for greater freedom of movement, especially if the water level reaches above your knees when getting on or off the boat
  • Power catamarans carry passengers as close to the beach as they can, so you can hop off and on easily
  • There is a minimum of 15 people required to run this activity. On the rare occasion that it's required to cancel this trip, the local operator will inform you in advance and offer a different travel date, an alternative activity or provide a full refund
