This tour showcases the best of Kos in just one day. You'll see the archaeological site of Asclepeion, the pretty hilltop village of Zia and wine and honey factories. The sands of time may have changed the ancient Asclepeion but it remains one of Greece's most important archaeological sites. Among the attractions are the remains of the world's first hospital, where doctors applied the teachings of Hippocrates. Next up is the mountain village of Zia. Here, you'll taste the local kanelada drink and have the chance to look around the craft shops.
You'll also tour a wine factory and enjoy a tasting. Then it's off to the seaside town of Kefalos, where you'll have free time for lunch and a rest on the beach. We'll end the day on a sweet note by sampling the local speciality loukoumades – honey-soaked dough balls – at a honey factory.
