Balloon ride, Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and felucca from Luxor

Accessibility:

• The activity is unsuitable for anyone with injuries, who have had surgery, back/hip/knee problems, health concerns, walking difficulties, severe auditory problems or is/may be pregnant

Extra fees to be paid on site:

• A visit to three tombs is included in the Valley of the Kings entrance ticket, with the exception of Ramses VI and Tutankhamun's tombs, which require an additional fee. Tutankhamun's tomb entrance fee is around 700 EGP for adults and 350 EGP for children under 12. The Tomb of Ramses VI entrance fee is approximately 220 EGP for adults and 110 EGP for children under 12. Payment only by credit card

Know in advance:

• You can choose between a shared or a private tour. For private tours, select the option that corresponds to your group size: Option 1 for one participant, Option 2 for two participants, and so on up to Option 6, which applies to groups of 6 to 15 participants. Private tour prices are charged per person and include a guide and a vehicle; the total price represents the full amount for the entire group based on the number of participants
• The trip is subject to favourable weather conditions. In case the hot air balloon ride cannot operate, guests will receive a partial refund for the balloon ride component. If the felucca ride cannot operate, it will be replaced with a motorboat alternative
• Flight duration is normally about 45 minutes, however flight times can vary from 40 to 90 minutes depending on the temperature of the air
• Please provide a contact number at checkout to be notified in case the tour needs to be cancelled and refunded or rescheduled
• The local operator will confirm the final pick-up time 24 hours before the experience starts. Please look out for an email or SMS
• The minimum age for children is 6 years, and they need to be accompanied by an adult

Remember to bring:

• Please be aware that a copy of your passport will be required during the confirmation process
• Sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, small bottles of water and casual clothing, plus money for tipping and shopping
• As the tour takes place in the early morning, guests are advised to arrange a breakfast box with their hotel reception the night before the tour
