What to expect

Experience a truly unforgettable journey through Luxor's most iconic treasures, combining an aerial adventure with immersive cultural discovery. Your day begins with a morning hotel pick‑up, followed by a transfer to the West Bank, where the experience starts.

Upon arrival at the hot air balloon site, prepare for a memorable flight as you gently rise above Luxor's breathtaking landscape. Enjoy approximately 45 minutes in the air, taking in panoramic views of ancient temples, fertile fields, and traditional villages illuminated by the sunrise. After landing near the Colossi of Memnon, you will meet your guide, who will accompany you throughout the tour and share insights into ancient Egyptian history.

Continue to the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs, where you can visit three tombs featuring well‑preserved wall paintings and intricate hieroglyphics. The journey then continues to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an impressive terraced structure carved into the cliffs of Deir el‑Bahari and dedicated to one of Egypt's most influential female rulers.

Conclude the experience with a peaceful felucca ride across the Nile, crossing from the West Bank to the East Bank. Enjoy the calm atmosphere and light refreshments before returning to your hotel with lasting memories of a journey that blends adventure, history, and culture.

Extra fees to be paid on site:

A visit to three tombs is included in the Valley of the Kings entrance ticket, with the exception of Ramses VI and Tutankhamun's tombs, which require an additional fee. Tutankhamun's tomb entrance fee is around 700 EGP for adults and 350 EGP for children under 12. The Tomb of Ramses VI entrance fee is approximately 220 EGP for adults and 110 EGP for children under 12. Payment only by credit card

You can choose between a shared or a private tour. For private tours, select the option that corresponds to your group size: Option 1 for one participant, Option 2 for two participants, and so on up to Option 6, which applies to groups of 6 to 15 participants. Private tour prices are charged per person and include a guide and a vehicle; the total price represents the full amount for the entire group based on the number of participants
The trip is subject to favourable weather conditions. In case the hot air balloon ride cannot operate, guests will receive a partial refund for the balloon ride component. If the felucca ride cannot operate, it will be replaced with a motorboat alternative
Flight duration is normally about 45 minutes, however flight times can vary from 40 to 90 minutes depending on the temperature of the air
Please provide a contact number at checkout to be notified in case the tour needs to be cancelled and refunded or rescheduled
The local operator will confirm the final pick-up time 24 hours before the experience starts. Please look out for an email or SMS
The minimum age for children is 6 years, and they need to be accompanied by an adult
