On the Varziela river, located in Castro Laboreiro, in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park, you'll have the chance to experience canyoning for the first time. It is a fun route where you can do activities such as abseiling, toboggans (natural slides) and also jumping into the water. The obstacles can be overcome and in case you don't know how to swim, don't worry, the instructor will be there to help you.
This activity consists of a walk along a stretch of river, overcoming the natural obstacles that arise. Swimming in natural pools, jumping into lagoons surrounded by giant cliffs and, eventually, using ropes and other safety aids to perform abseiling and other techniques that allow us to reach the end of our route.
