  • You'll engage with Greek heritage by crafting replicas in a Cultural Sanctuary
  • There will be an opportunity to learn about the golden ratios of the ancients from a lineage unbroken since 1966
  • A simple gypsum mould transforms history into a tactile experience
  • This is more than just a tour; it's a chance to create a personal keepsake infused with Greek heritage
What to expect

In the hallowed grounds of Ilis, where Doric might met the timeless splendour of the Olympic Games, you're invited to engage with history. Your adventure begins in a Cultural Sanctuary in Krestena—a place where the harmony of a piano and the spirit of a lending library spark the creation of your own masterpiece. As the western cornerstone of an international cultural bridge, this workshop rejuvenates the raw allure of the Olympic Land. Here, it's not just about crafting replicas; it's about infusing life into Greek heritage. From the might of Zeus to the rhythmic Parthenon Frieze, each mould is a living connection in an everlasting chain. Guided by the successor of a lineage unbroken since 1966, you'll grasp the "golden ratios" of the ancients. Uncover how simple gypsum can capture the tension of an entire civilization, transforming history into a profoundly tactile experience. You won’t merely depart with a sculpture, but with a personal keepsake—crafted with the expertise that once graced Greece's most magnificent monuments.

Full-day boat tour to Zante with Smuggler’s Cove

Pick-up any postcard of Zante and it's likely that Smuggler's Cove sits front and centre on it. Discover the soaring cliffs and shipwreck ruins of this famous bay during a full day boat cruise. Along the way, there'll be plenty of swimming and sunbathing, a stop at the Blue Caves, plus free time to explore the pretty port of Agios Nikolaos. Eleni, one of our expert local guides, says, "be prepared to be dazzled by the sea around the Blue Caves, which seems to glow electric blue because the white limestone underneath the waves reflects the sun through the azure water." The best part of this cruise is that you'll get to catch all of Zante's top coastal bits in one relaxing boat trip. After sailing over from Kyllini Port we'll kick off with a swim stop at dazzling Xigia beach. Sailing by windmills and white cliffs against the turquoise sea, we'll then head for Smuggler's Cove for a photo stop. Back in the 80s, a ship carrying contraband cigarettes ran aground in this chalk-white cove. What's left is a fantastic photo-op - Zante's best-known beach is one of the most photographed spots in the whole of Greece. After pausing to admire the Blue Caves, there's another swim stop at a secluded beach before heading ashore for some free time in the teeny fishing port of Agios Nikolaos. It's a sleepy kind of place with a couple of tempting beaches and one or two tavernas. You'll have free time here to try some meze, or just simply swim and sunbathe before the return cruise.
