What to expect

Step into the world of traditional Greek craftsmanship in the heart of the Peloponnese, just a breath away from historic Ancient Olympia. This exclusive experience offers a deep dive into forty-five years of expertise in the art of gypsum, bridging ancient techniques with modern creativity in a setting that feels more like an artistic sanctuary than a typical workshop. You are invited to master a craft that has defined Greek architecture for centuries, starting with a mystical visual tour through the secrets of gypsum, from its classical radiance to neoclassical grace.

A unique highlight of this initiation is the "Cross-Board Casting" innovation: an invisible cultural bridge that connects the maritime horizon of Samos with the grounding energy of the Peloponnesian land, transferring tradition across time and geography. Under expert guidance, you'll experience every step of the ritualistic moulding process, from the careful preparation of the raw material to the magical moment where liquid flows and solidifies into permanent form. Designed strictly for small, private groups to ensure an intimate atmosphere, the session concludes with you holding your own unique gypsum replica, a personal amulet of memory, provided in travel-safe packaging.

Hosted in a sophisticated cultural space, surrounded by music and books, this workshop offers a serene yet creative environment to master the ancient art of plaster casting.

Full-day boat tour to Zante with Smuggler’s Cove

Pick-up any postcard of Zante and it's likely that Smuggler's Cove sits front and centre on it. Discover the soaring cliffs and shipwreck ruins of this famous bay during a full day boat cruise. Along the way, there'll be plenty of swimming and sunbathing, a stop at the Blue Caves, plus free time to explore the pretty port of Agios Nikolaos. Eleni, one of our expert local guides, says, "be prepared to be dazzled by the sea around the Blue Caves, which seems to glow electric blue because the white limestone underneath the waves reflects the sun through the azure water." The best part of this cruise is that you'll get to catch all of Zante's top coastal bits in one relaxing boat trip. After sailing over from Kyllini Port we'll kick off with a swim stop at dazzling Xigia beach. Sailing by windmills and white cliffs against the turquoise sea, we'll then head for Smuggler's Cove for a photo stop. Back in the 80s, a ship carrying contraband cigarettes ran aground in this chalk-white cove. What's left is a fantastic photo-op - Zante's best-known beach is one of the most photographed spots in the whole of Greece. After pausing to admire the Blue Caves, there's another swim stop at a secluded beach before heading ashore for some free time in the teeny fishing port of Agios Nikolaos. It's a sleepy kind of place with a couple of tempting beaches and one or two tavernas. You'll have free time here to try some meze, or just simply swim and sunbathe before the return cruise.
